The New Hotel Zenit Convento de San Martin is located in the heart of San Sebastián, less than 100 metres from the Paseo Marítimo and the La Concha beach. It stands behind the façade of an ancient convent built in 1887 with stone from the Igueldo Mountain.
The illumination is extremely intimate with low lighting levels and touches of accent light created by recessed Laser Blades and 37mm-diameter Palco projectors. Throughout the hotel, different kinds of luminaire have been combined to create a cosy, comfortable atmosphere
In the conference rooms, homogeneous lighting is obtained by integrating the light emissions of recessed iPlan Easy luminaires located along the perimeter and recessed Laser Blades. Steps and patios are emphasized by floor-recessed Light up Orbits luminaires, whereas Palco luminaires mounted on low voltage tracks have been used to light the buffet areas on account of their versatility and minimalist design. The terraces are lit by surface- mounted iPro luminaires with up-down emissions. And the hotel’s façade is illuminated by iPro projectors combined with Linealuce Mini luminaires.
